Robbery near Telford Railway Station: Police seek information
Telford Police officers are appealing for information following a robbery close to the railway station on Euston Way on Friday 9th July. At some time between 7.50pm and 8.25pm, as the victim made his way home from work on Stafford Park along a secluded footpath near Fitness First, he was approached by three unknown men.
Oakengates assault appeal
Telford police officers have launched an investigation inot an assault that occurred in Oakengates. It happened in Stafford Road on Sunday 27th June.
At sometime between 10.20am and 10.40am, as the victim, a 19-year-old man, walked home from Oakengates railway station, he made his way past a group of youths who were standing at the bus station.
Train delay warning
Travellers hoping to use the railway line between Birmingham to Shrewsbury and also Aberystwyth have been warned that due to failled signals train services can be subject to long delays or even cancellation.

No News is bad news for rail travellers
Rail travellers have been left confused, bothered and bewildered by the lack of information at Wellington railway station. Because the information screens and the automatic voice announcement system has been out of action for several days.
Anyone wanting travel information is advised to text the name of the station to receive train information (PICTURED).
Telford Woman assaulted and robbed
Police in Telford are investigating following a robbery close to Telford Central Railway Station. The incident occurred on the footpath that runs adjacent to the A442 and the railway station car park on Monday 7th June.
At just before 3pm, as the victim, a 34-year-old woman, made her way along the footpath she was approached by three unknown men. Without warning one of the men attempted to grab the victim's handbag off her right shoulder.

Closure of Town Centre Roads for Rifles Freedom of the Borough Event
The closure will be from 16:00 on Saturday 29th May.
It will be for about 30 minutes.
Buses services throughout the Borough will take some time afterwards to pick up their scheduled timetables.
Services that are due to operate from the town centre during the closure will call only at Telford Central Railway Station and divert around the town centre.
The following out of town services will operate from the rail station and will not serve the Telford Town Centre Bus Station during that time.

Railway detonators stolen in Sutton Hill
Police in Telford are appealing for information following a theft in Sutton Hill. The incident occurred on Sunnymead on Friday 23rd April.
Sometime between 2.30pm and 9pm it appears that thieves stole a Toyota Hilux van that was parked in a parking bay on the street. The van – which was owned by Network Rail – may well have been stolen using the keys as it appears that the driver had accidentally dropped them out of his pocket without realising as he returned to his home address.
Family Fun on Saturday
Telford and Wrekin Borough Council are asking people to mark St George’s Day the day after St George’s Day on Saturday 24 April 2010, when all borough residents are invited to Southwater Square to take part in a Medieval party atmosphere.
Telford & Wrekin Council is organising its second year of St Georges Day celebrations – a day packed full of activities, performances and stalls inside Telford Library and outside in the square and Town Park.
