Witness Appeal to Tong Service Station Robbery
Police are appealing for witnesses after a service station attendant was punched in the head during a robbery in which fuel was stolen near Shifnal.
Officers were called to Tong Service Station on the A41 after staff became suspicious of a blue, curtain-sided HGV near the storage tanks between about 6pm and 6.20pm yesterday.
When approached by a member of staff, one of the lorry's occupants claimed to be delivering fuel but, knowing that was not the case, the victim began to call the police.
Robbery in Wellington
Police officers are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Wellington. The incident occurred close to Tan Bank on Friday 27th August.
Sometime between 1am and 2am as the victim, a 24-year-old man, was looking for a taxi, he was approached by three unknown males as he walked down the pathway that runs off New Street between B & M Bargains and the Wellington Methodist Church.
Another Shropshire stables robbery
Police in Telford are appealing for information following a burglary in Bratton. The incident occurred at stables on Rushmoor Lane sometime between 5pm on Sunday 29th August and 11.30am on Monday 30th August.
Sometime during the time period in question it appears that thieves forced open the locked stable door and then entered the building. Once inside they carried out a thorough search before stealing a number of items of equestrian equipment and then making their escape.
Police Witness Appeal Over Shrewsbury Pub Robbery
Police appealed for information following a robbery at a Shrewsbury pub in which two men forced the landlord to hand over cash.
The attack happened just before midnight (Aug 19) at the Red Lion on Battlefield Road.
It’s thought the two men had been hiding in the premises waiting for customers to leave and the licensee to lock up.
Police Constable Mark Wilding, the investigating officer, said: “The licensee was in the process of locking up when confronted by two men.
‘Linked’ robberies investigation in Oakengates
Police in Telford are investigating following two robberies in Oakengates in the last 24 hours that officers believe may be linked. The first robbery occurred at the bus station on Thursday 8th July while the second robbery occurred close to Cockshutt Road in the early hours of the 9th July.
In the first incident, the victim, a 19-year-old man, was standing at the entrance to the bus station at around 1.45pm when he was approached by an unknown man who asked him if he had some cigarette papers and a lighter.
DIY Store robbery in Newport
Police in Telford are investigating following a robbery at the Focus DIY store in Newport. The incident occurred at the store on Audley Avenue at some time between 10.55pm and 11.30pm on Monday 12th July.
At around 11pm the company responsible for the alarm at the premises notified the key holders to warn them that the alarm had been activated. Two key holders for the business, a woman in her mid 40s and a woman in her mid 30s, quickly attended the scene and made their way inside the building through the staff entrance to turn off the alarm.
Robbery near Telford Railway Station: Police seek information
Telford Police officers are appealing for information following a robbery close to the railway station on Euston Way on Friday 9th July. At some time between 7.50pm and 8.25pm, as the victim made his way home from work on Stafford Park along a secluded footpath near Fitness First, he was approached by three unknown men.
Appeal for information on Malinslee robberies
Telford Police officers are investigating two robberies in Malinslee at the weekend that officers believe may be linked. The first robbery occurred on Withywood Drive late on Friday 2nd July while the second robbery occurred on the same road in the early hours of Saturday 3rd July.
Boy robbed by youths on Arleston Lane
Police officers are appealing for information following a robbery in Arleston. The incident occurred on Arleston Lane on Sunday 27th June.
Sometime between 2pm and 2.30pm, as the victim - a 14-year-old boy - walked along the footpath that runs from the rear of the Tesco supermarket on the Wrekin Retail Park onto Arleston Lane, he was approached by two unknown youths.
Telford Woman assaulted and robbed
Police in Telford are investigating following a robbery close to Telford Central Railway Station. The incident occurred on the footpath that runs adjacent to the A442 and the railway station car park on Monday 7th June.
At just before 3pm, as the victim, a 34-year-old woman, made her way along the footpath she was approached by three unknown men. Without warning one of the men attempted to grab the victim's handbag off her right shoulder.
