Youngsters who took part in a summer police football project funded by McDonalds will meet a living legend from the sport as the scheme comes to an end for 2009.Former Liverpool FC player and manager Kenny Dalglish plans to attend Shrewsbury’s Power League pitches on Monday(OCT 26) to present the Man of the Match trophy following the ceremonial final game.

The team from Meole Brace have already been crowned champions of the tournament for the second year running, but will play runners-up Monkmoor once again in the friendly, kicking off at 3pm.

AFC Telford United have been chosen as the 'Team of the Round' for their FA Carlsberg Trophy Quarter-Final replay against Southport.
The club will be presented with an FA Presentation Plaque, will receive 20 complimentary tickets for the Trophy Final at Wembley on Saturday 9 May 2009 and will receive four cases of Carlsberg beer direct from Carlsberg.
The presentation of the plaque will be made by Mike Benson, the Vice Chairman of the FA Trophy Committee at the Semi-Final tie on Saturday 14 March 2009 against York City.

Bucks cup hero Jon Adams has been rewarded for his two goals against Southend ten days ago with a VIP trip to Wembley on May 30 to watch the FA Cup final. The popular midfielder topped a online FA poll for the Player of the First Round. He won with a total of 46 per cent of the votes, finishing 16 per cent ahead of his nearest rival.

AFC Telford United progressed to the Fourth Qualifying Round of the FA Cup with a 2-1 win against Hendon at Wembley FC. The Bucks secured their place in today's lunchtime draw with first-half goals from Terry Fearns on 14 minutes and Lee Moore on the stroke of the half-time whistle.

AFC Telford United make their debut in the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Cup tomorrow against Hendon at Wembley!

Hendon are struggling at the wrong end of the Isthmian League Premier Division and to make matters worse have been evicted from their ground.

They are currently playing home matches at Wembley FC's Vale Park, just a couple of miles away from the National Stadium. Despite their current status Bucks manager Rob Smith is refusing to take their threat lightly.

AFC Telford United will play Hendon in the FA Cup Third Round Qualifying. Hendon defeated Dulwich Hamlet 2-1 in their replay last night. Hendon currently lye second from bottom of the Isthmian League Premier Division with five points from their opening ten matches.

They currently don't have a ground to call home and have announced on their club website that the match is to be played at Wembley FC. We wait for official confirmation from both clubs to determine the venue and kick-off time as England play Estonia at Wembley Stadium with a 5.30pm kick-off.
