Telford head for Wembley!
AFC Telford United make their debut in the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Cup tomorrow against Hendon at Wembley!
Hendon are struggling at the wrong end of the Isthmian League Premier Division and to make matters worse have been evicted from their ground.
They are currently playing home matches at Wembley FC's Vale Park, just a couple of miles away from the National Stadium. Despite their current status Bucks manager Rob Smith is refusing to take their threat lightly.
Together with assistant Larry Chambers the Bucks manager watched Hendon defeat Dulwich Hamlet 2-1 in the previous round and he has also had a scout watch Hendon's recent 1-0 defeat at Tooting.
Defender Carl Rodgers has been ruled out of the match after he picked up a groin strain during the Bucks mid-week Setanta Shield win against Solihull Moors. But Smith is hopeful that skipper Stuart Whitehead will return after the influential captain missed the recent home games against Workington and Solihull.
Jimmy Turner is expected to be named amongst the substitutes. Turner hasn't kicked a ball for Telford since the Play-Off semi-final home defeat against Barrow.
